Givenchy by Alexander McQueen Fall 1999 RTW Cashmere Coat
One of the most prominent Givenchy collections designed by Alexander McQueen was dedicated to the millenium, internet and digitalization. Most of the items had a motherboard chip pattern, in the case of this beautiful coat made out of first cashmere, laid out by hundreds of beads and crystals. This is a true definition of couture work.
Size FR 38, corresponds to the international S, but I highly recommend to rely on the measurements (taken flat lay on one side):
- Shoulders - 40 cm (15,7 in)
- Armpit to armpit - 46 cm (18 in)
- Length - 97 cm (38 in)
The coat is in a very good, never worn condition. The only flaw is the tiny patch of missing cashmere hairs on the lapel, which is not visible at all (please refer to the photo of the lapel).
This coat will make a great collectible for any Alexander McQueen admirer.
